Anything below, use the regular SIT. Pac The Man X must be opened in OS X only, preferably using BOMArchiveHelper. Downloads 1 and 2 are the original Pac The Man 4.5.1 for System 7 up to Mac OS 9.2.2. Downloads 3 and 4 are Pac The Man 2 1.0.4 for Mac OS 8.6 and OS X (Carbonized). Downloads 5 is Pac The Man X 1.1.3, Mac OS X only. The standard /usr/bin/zip install that comes with Mac OS X 10.4 does not support encrypted zip files. So I decided to set out to compile a newer version of zip - thinking that replacing the binary in /usr/bin might allow for double-clickable encrypted zip archive compression.

Hi,
I have been a Windows user always and waiting for my first Mac (iMac G5) to arrive shortly.
I have downloaded a lot of softwares for Mac whose Windows counterparts I used a lot previously on my XP box. I observed that many of these downloaded files are in .bin or .hqx format. I have no idea how to install these programs.
Are these .exe equivalents in Windows? Will double-clicking them automatically install the program for me?
(thru an installer or something similar ??)
